Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating a robbery of a downtown business.

On March 22nd around 3:30 p.m. a male was seen stealing from employee’s purses in a fund raising store in the Haney Plaza mall, 22255 Dewdney Trunk Road. When confronted, the suspect claimed he had a weapon and demanded money. He left the store after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, mid 20’s, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark clothing and carrying a dark backpack, and had a rough, dirty appearance. The suspect walked out of the store onto Dewdney Trunk Road.
