Search efforts continue to locate missing person

Whistler, BC: Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating 25-year-old Alison Leanne Raspa after she was reported missing on November 23, 2017 by co-workers.

Alison was last seen on November 22 at approximately 11:30 pm as she was leaving the Three Below Bar on Blackcomb Way in Whistler.

Since her disappearance police have pursued a number of investigative avenues in an effort to locate Alison. An item identified as belonging to Alison has since been located at Alpha Lake park on Lake Placid Rd.

We are very concerned for Alison's well being, says S/Sgt. Annie Linteau, Senior Media Relations Officer, BC RCMP. We ask anyone who may have any information as to Alison's movements from the time she was last seen leaving the Three Below Bar and the time her personal item was located at Alpha Lake park on November 23 at 6:30 am to call police immediately.

Alison is Caucasian, has long brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white and black striped shirt and black pants.  She also had a blue backpack.

Whistler RCMP members with support from the Whistler Search and Rescue Society are conducting a thorough search of Alpha Lake Park and the shores of Alpha Lake. Members of the E Division Underwater Recovery Team will be attending the area to conduct a thorough search of the lake.

Police have been in contact with the woman's family and friends. They have been offered support during this difficult time.

Investigators are continuing their investigation and asking anyone with information to contact Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.
